Richard Irwin wrote an article about Branson that has been widely distributed on the web. About the Acrobats of China he says:
"Another show I enjoyed included the New Shanghai Circus, which features incredible feats of strength, flexibility and balance. The show drew lots of families with young children and teens."

Acrobats honor Tradition
By Joshua Clark, Branson Tri-Lakes News
When one thinks of Branson, Chinese acrobats usually aren’t the first thing that come to mind.
For the past 16 seasons, though, the New Shanghai Circus has been thrilling audiences as “The Acrobats of China,” one of the area’s most popular shows.
“We have seen it each and every year we’ve visited, and we’ve been coming here for 10 years,” said Laine Slade, of Collins, Miss., who saw the show Tuesday night. “The kids love it, and this show had several new things we haven’t seen before.”
According to emcee Freya Lui, several changes to the show take place every year.
“The performers generally come to town in March and leave in December,” Lui said. “So, each year, we get new performers with new specialties. They make this area their home for about 10 months.”
While March to December booking is usually the norm, the current group of acrobats will be featured until the end of the summer, at which point a new group will come in for a few months. “The other group will come back to perform this August,” Lui said. “So we do change the show every few months."

From the Making of A Mom blogger Stephanie
Here's just a little bit of what Stephanie had to say. You can read the rest at Making of A Mom blog
"The Acrobats of China had such an incredible line up of acts. Some of my favorite included the Chinese yoyo in which the girls would do tricks with the yoyo including passing it through the air to each other and juggling multiple yoyo’s. There was an amazing act with chairs in which the girls stacked the chairs and each other forming a very high tower. It was very impressive. The boys were tricky as they jumped through different sized hoops at different heights, balanced on each other and juggled hats."
